¡THE GHOST OF ROOM 306!

Clara Evans was no stranger to eerie locations. As a journalist and photographer specializing in urban legends, she had visited abandoned asylums, desolate mansions, and eerie cemeteries. However, nothing prepared her for what she would encounter at the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas—a place infamous for its haunted past.

The Crescent Hotel, built in 1886, had been many things: a luxury resort, a college for young women, and even a dubious cancer hospital run by a fraudulent doctor. But one of its most chilling stories was that of a young girl named Mary who had been murdered in Room 306 over a century ago. Guests and staff had reported strange occurrences—flickering lights, cold spots, and the sound of a child giggling in the dead of night.

Determined to uncover the truth, Clara checked into Room 306 with her camera ready. At first, the room seemed normal—worn furniture, floral wallpaper, and the faint scent of lavender. As she set up her equipment, a sudden chill made her shiver. The temperature had dropped inexplicably.

That night, Clara woke to the sound of soft whispers. She reached for her camera, but before she could turn it on, a shadowy figure materialized near the window. It was a young girl in a Victorian nightgown, her eyes wide with sorrow.

"Help me," the girl pleaded.

Clara’s breath caught in her throat. "Who are you?" she whispered.

"Mary," the ghost responded. "He never let me leave."

The room grew even colder. Clara knew she had to document this, but as she lifted her camera, the girl vanished. Frantic, she checked her footage—nothing. The only evidence was an eerie child’s voice captured on her recorder: "Help me."

Determined to solve the mystery, Clara spent days researching old records. She discovered that Mary had been a servant’s daughter, and she had mysteriously disappeared in 1902. No body was ever found, but rumors suggested she had been killed by a hotel guest.

With newfound purpose, Clara shared her findings, hoping to finally give Mary a voice after a century of silence. The haunting of Room 306 remained unsolved, but Clara left the Crescent Hotel knowing she had touched the edge of something truly supernatural—and she had the evidence to prove it.
